Player Overall Boosts

I hope that some players who had amazing years may have a better overall rating. For example JT Realmuto. He is the best Catcher in the game and is only a 85 overall. He is much better than that I believe. I hope he is at least an 87-89 overall. I also think Bryce Harper deserves to have around that same overall. He had a pretty good season and he has amazing clutch.

I think an 85 overall reflects who Realmuto is. There is no stat really lacking on his card that deserves a huge bump. Realmuto is the best catcher in the game currently, but generally the "best catcher" is akin to an average outfielders offensive production.
In today's baseball, being the "best" catcher isn't that spectacular. Don't take that as me saying Realmuto is a bad player, he is a very very good player. Catcher overall is a weak position (especially offensively) in recent years, so it's hard to say a current catcher deserves that high of a rating.
What would you increase on his stats to make him an 87-89? It's easy to say "he deserves a higher overall", but you have to base it on stats, not just glancing at an overall.

You make a really good point. I was thinking his contact is a little low. I personally think JT is higher than 72 with his contact. As a Phillies fan I have watched most of the games this year and he has made contact (especially good contact) most of the time. I just thought he might need an overall boost or 2.
