I agree. Unless it's a Gold glove pitcher like Maddux, these guys shouldn't be able to catch much

Most of them should still be in their follow thru,not cat-like to a hit.

Lol at everyone concerned about the pitcher fielding. How about when the ball is absolutely smoked up the middle and just happens to smack right off their foot or their arm and take 1 hop to a fielder to throw out the batter with 8 steps to spare. The entire pitcher defense is WAAAAYYYYYYY too juiced and unrealistic. If I can’t hit a 360 no scope on cod, the pitcher should not be doing that and fielding the ball.

The pitchers are the best fielders in the game. They don't make an error unless you are in a close game and the CPU want you to lose the game.
