New Event- is this a troll??

I'm really not understanding this reward path at all. Why are we not getting any new players in it? Who wants the same packs we've been getting since march? I understand there's a ton of stubs in it but are you guys becoming that lazy that we are just getting already released packs as our "new" rewards?? Events as a whole this year have been pretty awful and it's nice to see SDS making ZERO changes to that.

I mean I'll play because I like the 3 inning format chicks dig the long ball but packs only is lame.

looks like SDS took a page out of EA's playbook with madden house rules to see how many games people will play for pretty much nothing of value.
GG's SDS. The one mode I consistently played I will no longer bother with for this event. 100 wins... GTFOH.

It's obviously spread out but for 100 wins it totals to
25k stubs
2 silver packs
1 gold
41 standard packs
6 BIAH packs
Prospect pack 1,2,3
Quarterfinals pack
final reward is Ducks on the pond.Could be a decent haul but I would want some players on there.

I mean, I guess 100 wins could buy you a 90+ Live Series card after you sell everything off. I've yet to unlock Mantle.
I can also use this event to prestige Didi

My disappointment is that they’ve clogged up Events for nearly a month with a gimmick.
But Moonshot isn’t appealing to me, or it certainly isn’t in a prolonged format...I’d imagine others may be thrilled, so guess it’s personal preference.Although maybe I should be happy...between not being interested in the next month of Events, and them not releasing rewards that are meaningful, now I can ignore it if I’m not having fun and not feel like I’m missing out...and it may get me to remove the disk and give me a chance to move to the last of us 2 during my shorter weekday play times where I’d normally play events.

Having had a chance to review the rewards and think about it I am good with these rewards. Lots of packs to be had and it will help stop the "hey I need 1 win to get X player" messages

Yeah, I agree it ends up being more stubs at the end of the day, and if you got good luck, you make out like a bandit. Players would be cool, but it's not a deal breaker at all.

Been thinking about it more the fact there is no player rewards the best event so far.
The reason I think this is I no longer have to stress over getting to awin threshold so I dont miss out on a card. Now I can play if I'm not having a good night I can switch to something else and know I'm not missing out on anything.

That is a whole lot of common and bronze players.

I expected to see some cards in here as well, especially as the event runs over a month. If there was ever a spot to get out a 97 ovr Ortiz card with 115+ power vs righties, this was it. Other rewards could have been lower overall high-power cards like Adam Dunn and Travis Hafner (Both players were in the game last year)

Best thing I see about this, is potentially getting some cards to Prestige
