Scenario: playing the Event to get TA Innings Pitched for Ranger, Indians, Rays, Reds, and Mets players. I'm running a Gold Starter from each of those 5 teams and either a Silver or Gold RP/CP from those five teams.

My other 1 BP arms are either a Gold or Silver righty and lefty.

Now, I figure trying to get 5 IP with a starter is pushing it and trying for 2 innings of relief with an RP/CP is also pushing it; so what I've been trying us using one of my spare BP arms as an Opener and trying to get 2 innings out of him. Then when he comes up to back, I pinch hit and bring in my starter for 3 innings (4 if the pitcher spot comes up before I get 2 full innings wirh my Opener) then I'll close out with the same team's RP/CP.

If it works out right; I can make it through 5 games and not have to worry about a tired rotation and bullpen.

Someone I just played said that I'm 'cheating the system' starting an Opener.

Nah, it's perfectly okay. If someone isn't hitting your pitchers that's on them, not you.

I dont think think there's anything wrong with what you are doing. Using an opener is a legit strategy, its not like you are going SP to SP to SP.

I wouldn't be surprised, baseball etiquette doesn't apply to online people...they would cheat and push and break the rules just to win...basically online casuals are the Houston Astros times 2.

For some reSon events are toxic. People beg for wins and complain and send messages when they lose. What you’re doing is fine by me.

Quite honestly who cares what they think, I’m using events for TA innings also, so I just use the teams I need innings for and really don’t care whether I win or lose.
