Best park to play in
-
What is the park I should use most often in RS? What are your favorite parks? I have all of the classic stadiums.
-
Date palm 7pm every single time for me
-
Depends on the mood, lotta runs in shippet. Personal fav is PNC, it looks pretty
-
I'm a sox fan and play in Yankees Stadium. That says a lot. October 7pm overcast
-
any stadium not named Shippett
-
I like Oak Street Park at 7pm in October, nice light and batters eye.
-
I used to play at the Riverfront Stadium a lot but I didn't like when I'd hit the elevated sign out in LF for a double robbing me of a HR. I've been playing ST games in FL recently. I guess it's kind of boring but seems to play pretty fairly to hitter and pitcher.

What is so special about Shippet? I am seeing a lot of that in threads.

High Altitudes watch youtube and you will see why it sucks

Shippet is the generic equivalent of Coors. I typically play there right now in RS not because I like it but I don’t feel rewarded for hits playing anywhere else. I keep an eye on other places when I’m on the road but my Perfect-Perfect fly ball with 100 exit velo with Chipper at Bayfront that was a F8 that didn’t even reach the track really frustrated me. So I play at Shippet for the time being.

Griffith.. you can take advantage fast gap hitters and the slow outfielders and work on your pitches with room to roam

I also like Griffith.
I alternate between and all speed and all power team and that park is meant for fast teams. Its like 390 something to left, 420 something to center, and even if you do smash a ball to right the wall there is 30 feet high.
If you have a speedy outfield you can shut down heavier power teams - which is nice as it presents people another strategy besides strikeout or hit a home run.
Having a fast team in Griffith means you can get doubles, triples, and be very aggressive on the base paths.

I won a game 9-8 on a walk off homer at Shippett. I had 9 hits, all solo homers. That should sum up Shippett and this game in general

And my post I just put up is that, or pretty close.

I like riverboat. Kinda short down the lines. Large gaps. Plays well. Laughing mountain used to be mine in 19.. until they had that hitting patch late in the cycle so I switched to that massive blue stadium in the desert that’s like 450 to center. And I can assure you less homeruns were hit

Date Palm field is best field.
