Conquest Idea: Show Mercy
-
I usually only play conquest to get stars for the featured programs. Most of the time I grind through it as fast as I can. Often times ill score a single run then just hit into outs on purpose to get the game over with faster. I thought of an idea called "Show Mercy" where if you score 5 runs or lead 5-0 you are given an option to "Show Mercy" and receive the win. It would be an optional choice like a "friendly quit' which you can decline and those who want to continue playing to grind innings or stats can simply just decline the choice.
That means that the game can theoretically end in the top of the 1st if you mash enough. Anyway, just a thought.

I doubt seriously any suggestions that can be Inception-ized down to "How can we get people to spend less time playing our game?" will get anywhere.
But good luck nonetheless...

You're probably right about it not getting anywhere but man would it save time on some of those conquest grinds.

just score 2-3 runs then bunt out takes a short time to finish.

Sorry the rest got cut off by accident.
Meant it would take longer to score 15-20 runs to get "show mercy" then to just finish game. IMO

It would be 5 runs per 3 inning game. Like any 5 run lead meaning 5-0 / 6-1 / 8-3 would allow you to "Show Mercy"

I know that in other modes there is the 10 run rule, but that's not how baseball is played in real life. I would rather have people quit then have that mercy rule.
