How are fielding ratings calculated?

If it says they have a diamond rating for fielding how come he shows a gold(Buster Posey) for example in the field?

The shield on the field is based only on the “fielding” attribute. The “diamond” rating on the back of the card involves all defensive attributes.
85-89 “fielding” is considered “gold” fielding shield wise
