As a matter of fact yes (I am 43), Space Invaders, Asteroids, Pac Man, or my all time favorite (Donkey Kong). Much simpler time, no worries about being told to “git gud”, being hashtag wrecked or other crazy [censored].
My Dad was a hobbyist, we had a bit of money and he had a dedicated room with all of the aforementioned game cabinets among pinball machines, Atari, C64....

I play FIFA but mostly stick to co-op ranked seasons or career mode. There is a bunch of BS in coop ranked though.
Exactly, I’m talking about fut champs. If this community played fifa I’m sure half of it would stop playing video games for life. People are complaining about 1:50 odds for diamonds, meanwhile there are like 1% chances to make you’re money back on a single gold pack, with probably .00001% chance to get a promo player. I could go on for hours but no one would care lmao

I’m telling you, we need an over 40 men’s league where our old eyeballs are all on the same level playing field. RS is totally frustrating at times. One game you’re hitting great, the next game you can’t touch a fastball.
They exist. Makes the game much more fun, and custom leagues, while not perfect, plays so much better. Old farts like us can play on HOF with friendly people of all ages, have a 6-16 record and not have a care in the world.

It’s almost exactly the same if we’re being fair. They have the odds posted on packs just like the show and even during the Team of the Season you get about the same 1:50 chance as a diamond in MLB. Packs are never going to make you coins in any game but the ability to make coins if you avoid packs is there, NickRTM has tens of millions of coins to waste on SBCs for fun and would never give EA any money yet has every card. I do them myself and got TOTS Mbappe which is basically 10 Trouts.
They did really well with content this year for the first time with free icons all and year. I actually think it’s better than MLB has been content wise it’s just the laggiest game ever and multiple times worse than the show in every way other than content.

Funny.... I play this game for a couple months every year as a stress break from Madden before I start the new version. I always thought this game was relaxing compared to MUT. Never broke a controller though... I just swear at the TV instead.

I think that has more to do with the connection than your old dude eyes.
This. Game is wildly inconsistent due to connections imo. That is why one game you are early on 99, next you are getting 93 blown by you like Chapman on steroids.

Whatever flaws this game might have will always pale in comparison to the sadistic levels of difficulty in many old school nes games Ninja gaiden nearly broke me when I was a kid, and theres a special place in hell for whoever coded the water level in ninja turtles lol

In fact, I swing by the pawn shop about once every 3 months and pick up a few for a buck each just so I can walk on to my patio when the frustration reaches " breaking point" and release my anger without blowing 40$.
Very therapeutic and highly recommended. -

I also smashed my first controller recently because of ranked (base running was the culprit)...and of course it’s impossible to buy a DualShock right now. Sold out everywhere!
