Ranked Seasons Ratings

I've played this game for a couple years now and never really understood the Ranked Seasons ratings. I've heard multiple things like it is off how good your opponent is and where you are on the ratings before the game then determines the rating of the end game depending on how the game goes.

However,

Just played a game with me at 649 and opponent at 730. He quit in the Top of the 5th due to me winning 6-0. He had 1 hit and I had 7. I only got +36 and he got -36. Shouldnt that be higher????

Thats pretty high.

36 is a huge jump.

It also doesn't matter how many runs/hits you have. What you gain or lose depends on your opponents rating, not how you or he plays.

This. 36 is a big number. When you get to the 800's this is usually around 15-20.

Only SDS really knows the formula. I don't think anyone else would have a clue.

Haven't seen too many good connections and that is just gamers in general. Trust me, there are plenty of bad ones below that also.

I’m kind of surprised someone hasn’t found the formula yet. I know it’s hard to know all that is involved, whether rating mod plays a factor or not, but you’d think a few guys would purposely match up to figure it out.
