Your outfielders likes to watch the ball bounce 3 inches in front of him instead of bothering to catch it or they like to let it bounce off their stupid face.
The best is the time it takes to retrieve the ball afterwards... I mean it’s bad enough when it happens , but circling around the ball trying to pick it up for 5 seconds is even more frustrating.
Or when it's tapper in front of the plate and your catcher just runs by the ball instead of picking it up, over and over lol. The Benny Hill theme should just start playing on these plays, at least then you know the games screwing you
Just lost an events game, easy pop up to 3rd basemen. Got under it for a catch I could have made with my feet.. However, my third basemen thought it would be better to casually play it on a hop.
Sometimes I think it would be better if they just had your player trip over his own feet and fall down, Jose Canseco the ball into the stands for a homerun, something ridiculous just so at least you could get a laugh out of it

Everyone complains. People usually go with something along the lines of “this game sucks” and leave it at that, but what, specifically, is your number one issue with this years game that makes you not want to play and you would fix at the expense of all others? Just one and be civil and realistic please, it’s not a spew random hate at SDS thread, this is a genuine question, so I’m hoping for genuine replies.
I’ll start off with my personal most hated issue at the minute, which is that PCI is far too big and affords batters far too much opportunity to make contact on pitches way out of the zone. I often feel I have nowhere to go to get a swing and a miss when pitching and this is my number one complaint at the moment.
Agreed. I get it but also why this is steroid era ball lol We've been asking for some of these guys.
C’mon man, they’re not trying to simulate the ‘90s, they just lost sight of how to balance hitting and pitching. In years past, you could pitch to an ERA below 3.00 with your best pitchers, while maintaining a BA above .300 with your best hitters. With almost half the year gone now, we’ve yet to see anything approaching that kind of balance in ‘20. The pendulum has swung wildly from everyone having an ERA over 10.00 and batters hitting .400, to everyone batting .200 and striking out 15-20 times per game, now back to pitching being largely irrelevant and the game being a home run derby again.
This is all my own personal opinion and your own experience may differ, but I’d be surprised if more than a few people aren’t nodding their heads reading this post, because not only has the game been consistently inconsistent this year, it’s also been consistently unbalanced and broken. Steroid era ball this week, sure. Maybe I dead ball era next week. Big wheel keep on turning.
Maybe you missed the sarcasticness . Great time as a fan before we knew the truth and were jaded..By design.

Its not the game its the online community dumbing down The Show, its getting easier and easier every year....little no talent casual kids complain that the game is too hard so SDS has to dumb it down more. That's why SDS should release two versions of the show, a DD version and a Simulation/Franchise version.
You offline guys sound like a boy band comprised of castrated males.
And this is an example of why a lot of people don't play online - you think your better than a offline player and it's not worth dealing with it. You could be #1 in the world but how does anyone know it's not because you exploit every glitch/lag/crappy animation to get there? Why talk down to someone for their opinion? It's unnecessary and unproductive
Online players are usually hacks and scrubs that loves having their hands held, can you imagine these noobs play Ninja Gaiden or Contra back in the NES days? They would flip out and throw their NES out the window.
Dude, beating Ninja Gaiden was an accomplishment, so difficult, love that game...

Yeah totally, today if an online casual is winning a game and they get disconnected they throw hissy fits and go on forums and complain.

Hanging pitches online is bad, but the amount of Good/Okay BS results I get makes me want to jump out the window. I swear Good timing is bad. How can I be a millimeter away from being squared up with good timing, and the ball goes nowhere. Good/okay has made Showdown impossible for me. Yes it's clear i am not a great player, but should i have to be an elite player to beat Showdown regularly. Hell I'd settle for beating Showdown 50% of the time.

Oh, I yearn for the days of MVP Baseball 2005. Wherefore art thou great game of the very distant past??
In all seriousness, after reading all these gripes about MLB 20, I think I'll pass and wait until '21. For now, I'll be content to continue playing '19.
Wishlist for next year's edition:
- Full scale and fully functional relocation module within Franchise
- Custom music
- Rotating array of broadcasters and network graphics
- And for my sake -- add a Spanish language package too. If NBA 2K and FIFA can do it, you can do this too. Plenty of announcers doing baseball in Puerto Rico, Mexico, and even ESPN Deportes.
#ThatIsAll

Offline is awesome as always, just gatta figure out a Slider set for your skill level and download proper rosters with an equipment set and let it rip. Go on Operations Sports for all that stuff, Sounds of the Show is awesome too, you can download each walk up songs for each player in the league. I'm holding out on doing a Franchise this year until there is word of real baseball.

My bad, apparently the tone of your post went over my head. It’s tough on these boards at times, as there are certain members who will attempt to defend the indefensible, either through a basic lack of baseball knowledge, or because they enjoy the game as is and don’t want it to change as a result of the negative opinions of other players. Think we’re on the same page now though, lol.
