And gets tagged up because they are just standing there watching the game.
Will upload the clip tomorrow but anyone have this happen before? Literally stood halfway to second and watched the OF flyball get caught without retreating back to first?

I like the guys who stand on the bases together and one goes half way and other goes to base immediately before both there

That’s not incorrect. With less than two out, go halfway to see if it gets down, then advance if it does, go back if it doesn’t.

He’s talking about auto go back. On a rare instance, they don’t. I get mad when I tell

They did not return to first. Runner got tagged up standing half way between first and second. Made no attempt to return to first.

Oh, I see. Yeah that sucks. The same thing can be a problem on a hit thst is obviously going to get down in the gap, but your guy on base holds up anyway. Next thing you know you have two guys in the same base and are running yourself out of the inning.

If you hit either L2 or R2 the runners freeze until given another command. Maybe you accidentally hit which ever it is that freezes them
