I considered letting my PS4 get a lot of practice playing retro. I hear it helps the user. Everybody is doing it.

Nope, because when something does go the way the userbase likes they patch it immediately

I think the slider theory must absolutely be the case. Even conquest is off to me. I mean, the cpu hitters can at times stone cold take on the best releases from top pitchers, then early/ok hit at will, whenever creating drama is in the cards.
The slider adjustment is possibly the single most annoying aspect of this game.

PCI outcome is the biggest issue for me when it comes to hitting. How can 1 swing be good/popped when the ball is completely in the pci(at top dot) and another be good/okay when the ball is sitting on top of the pci? Sds thought that making the pci bigger would fix poor programming. It didnt work. The pci should actually be smaller and they should work on outcomes if they want user input to be the deciding factor in online competitive play.

I only play RS. This year has been more than enough to convince me that this is no longer the game for me. I’ve never played anything this inconsistent, nonsensical or broken in my life. There were baseball games for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis that provided a more realistic baseball game experience than this. Maybe everyone who plays CL, BR and events will disagree based on OP, but as a RS player, this is absolutely horrific.

Sega actually had some awesome baseball games back in the day. The first game of theirs that came on a disc was outstanding

Bottom of the 9th 99 was a really fun game on the ps1
