Are two steam fastballs useful this year ?

SDS

There were useless last year.

SDS

3 steam is better for a true latte

SDS

Yes, they are great. Just remember that they move away from the pitching arm. I.E. They move right from a RHP and they move left from a LHP. They work especially well on the outside for me, but you can use them to jam batters too.

I just use them as a reverse cutter basically.

SDS

Yeah, as long as you can locate it.

SDS

Cleveland steamers are better IMO.

Play the game and find out

SDS

Yes, they act like a change up with how ridiculous these timing windows are.

SDS

The only thing they do is amazingly make your opponent very early even tho it’s only 2-3 mph slower than fastball.

It’s not a strike out pitch only a pitch hoping for a fly out. But 99% of the time will be a early foul ball. Don’t throw it low unless you want to see an early swing HR
