Your go-to closer?

Who is your reliable go-to closer online? I was excited early on when we got K-Wood, but now I cringe thinking about using him after a few blown saves.

I’m not sure there is one on AS, probably why we see so many people use closer by committee with the starting staff.

Another Eck as a positive or negative for u? I have him I prefer to use Morton.

Chapman is the only reliever I have consistent troubles against, I’ve never been able to hit him

Wagner or Fingers depending R or L , those are my two fav’s

How do you pinch hit with Ohtani?

You can't, but if I'm getting crushed in the 4th inning, I bring him in to eat some innings so I don't destroy my pen.

Because you can't see his pitches. After facing that so many times, I bought him so I could be on the other end of it.

Because you can't see his pitches. After facing that so many times, I bought him so I could be on the other end of it.

Are you playing on a TV because I find him fairly easy to read

I use Dibble/Fingers or Wagner/Britton depending on matchups and how my opponent has been on fastballs vs. sinkers. All have been very successful for me. Eck is nice too.

Hey now. I didn’t make the game. I blast almost everybody out of the pen. Chapman or Amir Garrett might be the best to use. Everybody else is just waiting to get mashed on. Good luck making it to the 9th anyway.

Truth is there are plenty of closers, people just feel more comfortable with the starter because they can. I’m not going to say I haven’t used a starter in relief, but it’s either because my starter got rocked early or extra innings.

Dudes with heat ( preferably sinker or cuter) and a wicked slider.... all you need. Changeup or curve for dirt pitches is good too, but they hang too often regardless of pitch feedback

Depending on the next three batters:

RHP: Dennis Eckersley or Rollie Fingers
LHP: Aroldis Chapman or Billy Wagner

Lefties- Wagner
Righties- Dibble

Dibble is absolutely filthy

Dolittle
