I read these posts and the OP’s pov is often spoken as if it translates to the entire base. I would venture that most people don’t have a problem, if I recount from the players tourney most seemed to have no issue with the gameplay aside Snell wanting a more challenging setting for the difficulty.
Also any opinion of the game attached to wins or loses is immediately thrown out as far as I’m concerned, if someone wants to give unbiased thoughts not attached to ‘my opponent’ this or ‘ I squared up everything’ that than I will listen.
Point is the gameplay isn’t terrible as a whole but there are some really bad aspects to the game. I would list base running as a runaway #1 and the lightning quick unrealistic double plays as second. My third would be pitches not going where they were spotted on perfect input.

My first would be this extended field at Fenway

    1. would be the inconsistent pitching
    2. Base running needs to be fixed i agree
    3. I robbed 1/4 HRs two of them bounced off the gloves into the crowd think they should review that as well

Pitching hitting duel is what baseballs is all about, you gotta get that part right... Not saying fielding or base running isn’t important, it is, but the pitchers hitters duel is super important... Pitching accuracy should be improved

You’re definitely right, that is the heart of baseball.

The problem with improving pitching accuracy is that any improvement to pitching will make hitting more difficult, and they just now got hitting to the point where most of the community eeems to be relatively happy with it.

I do think they need to improve pitching accuracy, specifically on balls you try to aim low out of the zone but hang with perfect input. That’s the one that frustrates me.

With the new patch, I like the changes to hitting window and it feels like there’s better hitting outcomes. However, it increased the ability to make contact with balls way out of the zone, making it more unrealistic than it already was. I don’t think decreasing the range on the PCI is the answer. I don’t know if there’s a way to code it but it would be nice if your pci shrinks if you extend it out of the zone. Keeping hitting the same as long as you’re swinging at pitches in the zone and shrinking your pci to reduce the ability to make good contact if you’re expanding the zone.

I would like to see pitches with the slightest contact on the paint be called strikes. Even if it’s the smallest portion of the ball, if it clips it’s a strike. No umpire variable’s. I think this would balance the game out and would be a larger benefit to pitching then increasing the accuracy slider unless that slider is increased immensely
