I've played 8 games today on my new ASUS monitor after always having gamed on a TV. I lost my first game in Events (used it as a warmup for timing) but only lost by 1 run in extras. Then I went on a 6 win BR run. I had multiple 5+ run games and one where I had 9 or 10. That may not sound impressive on the surface, but it was something I have rarely experienced in 9 inning games, much less 3 inning games. Went into RS with just under a 700 rating (played my first game of the season last night while enjoying my adult beverages) and I won 7-3.

All of this to say, I don't think I've ever been on the ball more than I am right now. I feel like I've had more perfect/perfect hits today than I probably have the rest of the year combined. I'm getting way less late results. I feel like I'm NBA Jam levels of on fire. I think I can finally crack World Series this season!

Also, Joc Pederson is the BR GOAT, period. Hitting .469/.500/1.120 for a 1.710 OPS in 86 PA.

Does the monitor make the ball appear to come in slower so you can line up the PCI better? I've been thinking about making the switch myself cause I'm terrible with PCI placement. I've seen guys on twitch and YouTube playing and the ball appears to come in slow, which I assumed was due to a high def monitor.

The ball doesn't come in slower, but having a monitor with a low response time makes your PCI and button press react substantially faster in game. I bought the ASUS VG245H gaming monitor, which has a 1 millisecond response time.
Edit: it was about $160 on Amazon.

I thought about that as well, but I feel like it's more so that my PCI and swings are reacting properly now. On the TV I would have multiple swings in a game where feedback said my PCI was dead center when I had definitely moved my stick.

This! Totally agree with you about swing feedback man. I’m using a tv from 14 or 15 that doesn’t have a game mode. It’s time to move on, monitor will be here in a couple days.
