But dudes picking the ball up off the ground needs to be patched. Apparently all my guys got back problems from the last patch and refuse to bend down far enough to reach the ground.

Yep started in the outfield, a lot. Online it’s pretty egregious now. Anything over someone’s head is almost guaranteed double because it takes him 2 or 3 attempts to pick up the ball.
But I’ve also seen it at shortstop and pitcher too now lol. My pitcher wouldn’t pick up a ball so much that the second basemen finally came in and got it while some 10 speed guy legged out a single on a ball hit to the pitcher. That was offline but still had me chuckling hard.
I just watched Francisco Lindor charge a slow roller at SS literally kick it. No fielding animation at all. Just running, the ball hitting his shins, and the ball bouncing back towards the mound. It was against the CPU but it was wild to see.
