Like seriously, I just played a game where he was hanging every other pitch down the middle

I had to stop using him for this reason, once I got him prestiged he totally crapped the bed. He has like a 7era for me. Most of my other guys are under 3

My first games with him actually went really well and then the past few games I had to pull him after 4 because everything was going down the middle

I wrote about this in my survey. If you don't want 100mph fastballs to be the only meta, then pitch command needs to be better on control pitchers. If Roy Oswalt and Michael Kopech both have the same command of their fastballs and the same chance of hanging their sliders down the middle, then there's no point in NOT taking the superior velocity card. Will there be more flukey hits against kopech than oswalt because of her per 9s? Yeah, but in terms of just user input and user reactions, Kopech is far harder to hit than oswalt because of the heat.
Pitchers like Oswalt, Kershaw, Glavine, Maddux etc. need to reassure the user that IF they hit their meters perfect or near perfect, the miss radius should be much smaller on their pitches and the control of those meters should feel like veteran when playing on all star and should feel like all star when playing on HOF in order to give those pitchers some sort of an advantage becuase even a perfectly placed slider and curveball is easier to adjust to right now if the card only throws 95mph
