Fielders Diving on Contact

At least once or twice a game, sometimes more, my fielders, both infield and outfield will dive for the ball immediately upon contact....for no reason. I haven't seen this happen too often with my opponents, but I have ran into it. The result is typically a base hit or more on what would have been a routine play.
Is there a setting I can employ to get rid of this, or is it a bug that SDS is working to fix?

I'm pretty sure there is a setting to set diving and jumping to manual, it's not a bug.

There is an option to change the dive/jump option to one button (situation dependent) or your controller has some wear n’ tear making the fielders do that. Have had that issue plenty myself and switched to a different controller along with the button change and it hasn’t happened since
