Pitch speeds 155 MPH

The problem is two fold. Firstly, they raised pitch speeds early in the year, secondly, at the same time they made the swing timing window extremely small. The problem is that these changes made the connection/latency issues that this game has always had super noticeable and its manifesting itself in pitch speeds appearing to be all over the place.

Makes sense as to why Ohtani looks like nolan Ryan in the events. Preset the pci and still try to catch up to it but nope

If you use production software to track fps, the number of frames for x mph pitch, ie a 99 mph fastball, does change in online play. This is either due to lag, poor coding or (my opinion) the game pre selects someone to hinder/help. Its not in your heads. The pitch speeds are not represented in the game the same way game to game, even when using the same pitcher.

I'm sure, since you've done this and collected the data, you are going to share your video evidence, as well as a spreadsheet tracking the discrepancies?
Otherwise, you're just blowing hot air and no one cares.

Could have a lot to do with each pitchers height. A 102mph fastball from Chapman will get on you quicker than a 102mph fastball from Kopech. Same goes for each pitchers stride and release. If they have an explosive stride or any kind of hop in their stride, the ball will get on you faster.

Someone said different pitch speeds from the same pitcher. So, nope.

Yeah the problem is same pitcher. It can be one game after the other as well. It also doesn’t matter if you’re the home team or the away team.

Pitching period is screwed up even without them adjusting the gameplay sliders constantly. I am seeing off speed pitches that are aimed below the zone coming in with ZERO movement. Just looks like a fastball even though its a slider, doesnt show any movement at all, just drops below the zone. Ones thrown in the zone, I can see them "slide" like they are supposed to. But out of the zone there is nothing.

I made a post if you look up my history. Pitch speeds lag was the topic. A lot of good information and theories. It had the most reply’s of a topic with agreement of a problem I’ve seen in awhile and will help you at least understand your problem.
Thanks man I’ll take a look. Good to know I’m not the only one with this issue.

Faced Kopech in a RS game and he made me look stupid. Dotting everything and the stuff that was hittable I couldn’t catch up to
