Ok, first, the 99s from the reward path. How would you rank Larkin, Sandberg, Reggie, Minnie and Posey?
Then, how about the high diamonds from the XP path: Kluber, Rickey, Newhouser, McCovey and Rollie?
Reward Path - Reggie, Larkin, Sandberg, Posey, Minnie
XP path - Newhouser, Kluber, Rollie , Rickey , McCovey
Bonus. Classic choice pack.
Mondesi, Sanchez, Morton, Reyes Robles.
Reward path:
The best catcher you'll see in this game for a while, better than Biggio
Elite 2B, 5 tool player with a killer bat
Top tier bat and swing, fielding hurts him a little
Not bad, just not as good as the others
High diamond:
Best starter in the game
Best reliever in the game
Elite starter at this point, very usable with great stamina
Great pinch hitter vs righties
Probably your 3rd best bench bat against lefties, glorified pinch runner
Classic pack:
Still elite SS card to this day
Is a goon but easily replaced by Posey, still a very good bench bat
Semi useful starter early game for anyone, can be effective when utilized well
Mop up arm / 6th starter, he's not good but he can eat innings
This card isn't very good, he excels at nothing. Outclassed by Buxton, Acuña, Judge, and maybe even Kevin Kiermaier with his glitchy swing
Interesting. Of the 99s, I went Sandberg and then Reggie. Don’t regret my choices. Reggie is obviously the play if you solely want a bat. I skipped Posey, who looks really good and I swing well with usually because Pudge was my first evolution pick. I think I’m going Larkin next though.
With the high diamonds, I went Rollie and then Kluber. Rollie has been good and we all know about Kluber. I’m getting close to my next one and plan to go with Hal.
For the classics, I went Reyes (wanted a starter at that time), Gary, Morton and Mondesi. Left Robles for my last pick when it comes. Honestly, I haven’t used any of them very much. Mostly Gary, who is as expected.
@JustASeal0 i respectfully disagree on Robles not being very good. He was my first choice as I was doing good w Garver and skipped the Sanchez bandwagon. I’m not there to look at stats but somewhere between a .330 BA and .800 OPS. FOFT Buxton may be better (never used) but I do much better w Robles then Mondessi with many more PA’s. Mondessi will give you more HR’s tho. Morton just sucks.
Anyone reaching their first pick, don’t sleep on Robles, only downside is outfield options will be tighter then other positions
99 reward path: (I'm currently silver level 22 or 23 but I've used them all in BR or something) Reggie I picked him because I needed a bat Posey Solid catcher but I have my cap, who I will probably move Larkin Lacks power vs righty's but well rounded card besides that Sandberg Terrible Swing I'm something like 1 for 7 with him. His stats look great but he isn't great. He could be good for some people but not me. Minoso Worst card on here, still decent. He doesn't have power or diamond fielding, besides vision those are the most important to me
High diamond pack: Kluber Duh, best pitcher in the game. People are starting to figure him out but I feel like he will always be in your rotation. Newhouser He is the best lefty in the game I think (maybe the new Glavine is) He has great stamina as well. Fingers I haven't been impressed pitching with him. The only good pitch I feel like is the forkball. Mccovey He could start at first and hit. That is all he does. Henderson Speed and defense, he can hit against lefties. The worst card choice here but still good. Classics pack: Mondesi THIS IS THE GLITCHIEST CARD!!! Must have, I'm amazing with him, I even play him out of position at 1st base where he has bronze fielding. Morton I have trouble against him but his fastball is flat. Gary I don't need a catcher assuming I get posey. I haven't found him outstanding. Reyes Average starter, could possibly find a spot in the back of your rotation Robles Not glitchy, has speed and defense. I don't feel confident with his hitting stats at the plate. Those are my rankings, I've used all of them this year or in previous years

.800 ops wouldn't touch my squad, everyone I use has a 1.250 ops or higher
I have an .800 ops with Robles, he stinks
