The country is leaving MLB behind

Come on MLB players and owners - show as much courage as your local barber or grocery store employee. Military personnel, law enforcement, doctors, nurses, bankers and most of the people on this forum are working or soon returning.
MLB players are already covered from head to toe in protective gear - would adding a face mask really diminish the sport? Stadiums could be allowed to fill to a quarter capacity and the fans would face less risk than buying a gallon of milk.
At a time that the nation could really use the diversion of sports, the guys are acting like a league of Pelosi's - isolating in their mansions, hording gourmet ice cream.
Perhaps the games will resume in July but that is probably too late - June 1st should be the target for opening day and is easily done with some improvisation. MLB players will face less risk than the kids and their families already returning to the ball fields for friendly games and practices.

I saw on a KBO game last night that mlb is expected to submit proposals to the union on Tuesday about starting the season.

Its not even the players safety that worries me (although it does, the amount of travel puts them at a HUGE risk of infection). Are they going to sell tickets? Its a little hard to stay 6 feet away from people when in a stadium.
Like others have said, there is too much to explain in a video game forum

Bruh why was this posted on the MLB the show forms complain to manfred or something

Jomboy or Plouffe whichever one said it best. This entire argument is billionaires vs millionaires, millionaires never win vs billionaires.

Exactly the only ones losing out are the peasant fans. I don't feel sorry for Freddie freeman or The Ricketts. I feel sorry for the common schmuck that works at a factory all day to pay child support, eats spaghettios, drives a beater and drinks commercial beer and looks forward to watching his team on the television before going to bed.

Barbers, bankers, and grocery store employees doing their job doesn’t include packing 40k into a stadium last I checked.

By that criterion, the Marlins could play.

That's it. Good day. Leave now like George Castanza because it won't get better than that.

I’m sure he wishes he took school a little more serious.
