Dude, watch that video I posted. You will see some of the slowest baseball players of all time, including Big Pappi who has a speed rating of 0 in this game, beat out the shift with a bunt.

Because the shift protects against extra bases, not singles. It’s a free pass if they want it, teams know this.

Def not true, it's not a 100% success rate, I bunt against the shift occasionally and def don't get on everytime.
