It has never been matched when I do "play vs CPU" It only matches for conquest games.

Yessir. I put in the lowest overall and pick him every time. I know their stats only count for vs cpu but I still don't like to give my "good" pitchers a loss since I quit after I get 3 outs in the top of the inning.
If you’re quitting after the first 3 outs then why does it matter??

It doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but seeing one of my top pitchers with a 23-78 record after a quick quit just doesn't sit right with me. Call it a pet peeve.

maybe now but all modes used to match. I have never done stat missions in conquest since I am quitting after the top of the 1st regardless.

sorry but you're just wrong, unless you just started. The last 25 times I have done a quick vs cpu against the red sox I get Chris Sale every single time. Not exactly what you would call random.

I'm sorry dude but you are just wrong. I have done this since launch. Example: I need hits with orioles infielders. So I load up with em. Select my 5th pitcher and have always got their 5th pitcher. To break up the monotony I would go down the list and play the top of the inning against each team until I got the stats needed.
So if I was playing against the red sox I would pick away team so I can bat first and pick my 5th pitcher. I would always always always go against Brian Johnson, their 5th pitcher. It was like this for every team I faced, until last night.
Again, no offense but you are just wrong on this.
You are correct. I have played a ton of extended play games vs cpu and they have always matched with my starter... I never had to go against Sale, when going for stats, because I never chose my ace...It must be a bug, or they recently changed it.

You are correct, and I think that it must be either a bug or they recently changed it...I was always able to get my 5th pitcher or whatever to match up evenly with the cpu pitcher in extended play vs cpu, or extra innings, or conquest modes.

They must have changed it then, because when I did the “play vs. CPU” games on Allstar for the Granderson and Kaline programs it was not this way; I will try again soon. Kinda makes sense to make it the same as conquest, but they should tell us.

I "play vs CPU" every single day, and always get the starter slot matched up. I've never had it go randomly. Strange that others have it differently.

I've only played a handful of vs cpu games, but it's never matched up for me.

ok dude. So in vs cpu I go against the red sox and get Sale 40 out of 40, I play Orioles I get John Means 40/40, I play the Brewers I get Woodruff 40/40. So please tell me with your best logic how it is and always has been "random"?? I'll wait.

Just did it kluber vs mikolas not the cards first pitcher it might be some players not all look at my game history
