Stealing

I have Rickey Henderson with his 99/99 speed/stealing. I have been thrown out on every steal attempt against the CPU by catchers on their knees on offspeed pitches with pitchers not doing slide steps.

Am I doing something wrong or did the latest patch ruin stealing??

Ruined it completely can’t get a good jump anymore but the computer is allowed to do it when they steal crazyyyyy

They literally broke stealing with the most recent patch. The only way they could fix the glitch was by completely breaking stealing all together. The only time you're going to get a stolen base against the CPU now is if the ball doesn't end up in the catchers mitt from the pitch (dropped or a pass ball)

I guess they felt it was more appropriate to break it where it completely f's over the player base as opposed to having it broke where it benefits the player base. Typical SDS...

Impossible to manufacture runs now. Can’t sac bunt and can’t steal a base. Makes it very frustrating especially in Showdown.
