I just played the weirdest game

SDS

I matched up in ranked with a guy who had a much weaker team on paper. Silver pitchers, maybe a couple live series diamond and gold.

I had Kluber going. He had 15 strikeouts in the game and only four hits, and every hit was a solo home run to tie or take the lead. I should add that all but one of them made that weird off the end of the bat sound and all were off well located pitches.

Twice his infielders made plays where the ball made a sharp turn into the glove when it looked like a sure hit, always to end a rally.

I finally walked it off with two out in the ninth. Kelbert Ruiz was hitting and I was about to pinch hit Gary but he kinda quick pitched me so I thought I’d take a hack. Sure enough a no doubt bomb followed.

As relieved as I am to win, I am really disturbing by how little control I felt over the outcome. So weird.

You disrespected Ramone's script by hitting that bomb

It's not the point of your post, but you touched on something that really annoys me. Sometimes for the life of me I just cannot get to that pause menu to make some managerial changes (pinch, warm up, etc). Even if the dude doesn't pitch straight away, I'm there mashing the options button but nothing f-ing happens.
Mind you, in 20 I've only plated 8 RS games and a handful of BR.

You know, I agree with you. Unlike some of you twenty somethings, I need a moment to take a breath and reset my approach. The whole quick pitch rush the tempo thing is rough.
