I kid you not, I’m the manger of the Yankees in that game ...

@KingsCountyOG718 said in Deff right about Canada though.
.
Peter and Albert were huge HR threats and then you could sub in Mickey and Floyd to give your team even more power.I also forgot their pitcher was also Skill 5 so they were great top to bottom.

"toke" indeed!!!! I think we appreciate these games more than most; even with all their flaws and imperfections, they're pretty cool compared what WE saw. First played Pong in 77', football in 93', and baseball in 96'!

Wow you mean no online and no card collecting and no experience collecting....like before they just actually played baseball?..wow, unheard of

This game is nuts. For now even. Flaws are minimal IMO, I know the real game well.HS baseball and football, semi pro football after..Nice in baseball as well. Started 1B for FDR HS Brooklyn NY 1995 to 1998 hitting the finals 2 of 3 Years. Lost 2 times to Tottenville Staten Island who recruits foreign and out of state players. MLB connections from that coach as well as scouts out the wazoo. Jason Marquis was my Kryptonite.Name might sound familiar.MLB Braves. Nasty. At that level as well.Injuries..This game nails alot down to variable strike zones from HP umps. Love it.Launch angles are big also..They cry perfect perfect but hit dead center level swing..They tight they hit it at someone. Came along way from OG RBI and Sprts Talk for Genesis. OG NES had that trash baseball game..1st one for NES i believe.Real players but trash even for then.I played 17 and 18 at my boys spot Gave up on systems and games.No.time. Until July 4th last year ..[censored] faced had a little tourney with my fellas. System next day and 19.Straight to online to get washed. Learned quick. That MLB for PS2 same kids thought I always cheated online.Wouldnt lose.Even to.strangers..I get "in my bag" with baseball.Fav sport but pursued football cause odds are better for for going to school to be scouted further or even going pro for a cup of coffee even..All that to say this game is nasty.Bugs are minor even compared to AAA powerhouse modern games..Mad cause they trash for the most part.

Love my cajun people!! Might not hear this ever from a real NYC head but one of the few places I would move out of state to is Louisiana for sure. Love everything about it and is my home away from home. Being raised during crack era NYC Brooklyn to be exact is that nothing but the tea is sweet down there. At the same time the love is real if the respect is given.Same up.top over here

I used to love the Bases Loaded series on NES. I rented that game a ton along with Tecmo Super Bowl. 0.99$ for two days. Those were the days. Blow repeatedly in the cartridge, set your TV to channel 3 (or 4) and game away.
Simpler times back then

Another great baseball game. The first one with real played and commentary. The game had a poster inside with all of the team roster and player stats. -
@MathMan5072 i believe I was baseball simulator 2000 or something like that. U could even edit players names. At like 9 I put my family on a team lol. Do u remove there was also a baseball game with robots.

That's great to hear. We definitely are a warm and welcoming bunch. There are a lot of things to love about the state. Living here all my life I still love our food scene. I take it for granted until I travel elsewhere.
My niece goes to St. John's in Queens so I have made several trips up to NYC and have spent time in probably every borough but Brooklyn. Love everything about big city life. It is quite a culture shock coming from the South though.

Those of us old enough to have played games from Sega Nintendo all the way to now its crazy when you look back thanks for the flashbacks every1. Did any one play tv arcade baseball? It had like this plastic foam bat, a home plate, and a baseball attached to a cord and youblike stood up to batt idk homerun derby as a kid on that thing was amazing!! I would practice all the diff batting stances especially one of my cub favs at the time Derek Lee... and of course every single person in there life who has grabbed a bat has done these 5 things.. pointed like the babe, held the bat crazy high like Craig counsel, squatted down like jeff Bagwell, swung there batt back in forth as fast as they could get Sheffield, and I'm say alot of you did the rod carew!! ... shout outs also to the batting stances of kevin youkilis, mosie alou and aaron rowand.. did I miss any 1? Maybe Julio franco? His was werid 2
