Who's your catcher?

I have 87 Sanchez and he is legit at the plate but his blocking on low breaking balls for strikeouts is killing me lately.

88 Carlos Santana.. his defense ratings are obviously low, but it's never hurt me in like 8 online games, and he just simply crushes

Interesting. I love the offense w Sanchez but his RS blocking has killed me. Was looking at getting Johnny Bench to change it up.

Awards Posey

It was LS Grandal and he is absolute king for me. Love him.

But now I've hit the level 1 Silver and grabbed Posey. So....that's C locked away for a while.

Would love to get that FotF Santana as a switch hitting bench bat that can play C if needed, but I'm happy with Grandal doing that for now.

Evo 91 Pudge

Adley Rutschman is fantastic.

I use the 91 Evo Pudge. His defensive performance is amazing but through about 60 plate appearances I am hitting around .240 with him. I make great contact but he seems to line out a lot for me.

Pudge swing takes time but he is hitting of late. People online serve him hangers

Using diamond Gary but I’ve been striking out a lot lately with him so I might switch it up and put Posada in. Less power but better contact, similar if not better defense and pretty good power still

Rutschman is a beast. Good contact, switch hitter, has a good amount of pop in his bat and is really solid defensively

Gary Carter has been solid for me. Good defense and contact hitter, but lacks power.

However, I am ditching him as soon as I can claim MVP award Buster Posey. He may be an end game card.

A great free card. Diamond D and enough contact / vision to get base hits. To top it off he has decent speed. 8 hole hitter. I keep 87 Gary Sanchez on the bench If I get into a big spot with runners on and pudge up vs RHP.

I use Gary Sanchez versus RHP and Joey Bart versus LHP. I'm thinking about doing the Indians in a M2O for Carlos Santana as I've always hit exceptionally well with him and my Sanchez/Bart combo has been letting me down lately.

CAP! I only have the 85 with mostly gold equipment but he is hitting 600 through 20ish games! Custom swing, switch-hitting, and insane stats make it the best catcher in the game. (statistically better than Posey.) There is just no downside unless you only like using real players.
