Makes sense, just curious. I didnt know if this was a better forum than Reddit for having a positive chat. I think we all want the forums to move into a friendlier state with the community and SDS.
I have noticed its been bad this year. Again, just thinking out loud
Reddit loves and praises everything SDS does.
Here, not so much.

I wonder why?

It's not quite that black and white, Reddit overall is more positive towards the game, but there is a lot of frustrated players over there to

Be careful what you wish for. I've heard if you say one of their names in to a mirror three times they show up, hungry for hot pockets. Always hungry.
But seriously, I think once the apocalypse dies down, we will see more of them. At least in the streams.

Last time I saw a dev reply was when a forum topic complained about the devs. The dev responded with some troll post.
I cannot stand the complainers but the troll post was not cool

I thought it was. It's good to be reminded every so often that the devs are human beings. Makes it a bit tougher to dump on them constantly.

I just saw it as a complainer saying, “game sucks hur dur, devs know it sucks which is why they never post here” (a bit of exaggeration, mind). I think what took me aback was locking the thread (imo basically addressing the “being called out”, ignoring the rest).Granted, there was no substance to the guys complaining (which means no reply needed). IDK, just something that made me do a double take, right or wrong perhaps I am reading too much into it.

They also know the reasoning behind all the patches but never tell us why especially when 1.04 was release it wasa big slap in the face to everyone, they spent a majority of their time leading up to the game hyping user skill just to take it away right after the offical release, thats pretty much sums up how they value their customers opinion, and to this day they still havent explained why they rolled out that patch and probably never will explain it.
Everyone loved Fornite because fo the skill gap same with the new cod so why do these companies get it in there heads that they have to try and catter to everyone. THATS NOT how sell more copies thats who are get a bunch of 1 and done players and how you lost they majority of your hardcore player base.

So instead of catering to everyone, the better option is to gatekeep casuals from playing the game?I agreed with you up to that point, no further comment needed

I'll mention this because I'm sure most people weren't around back in the infancy of this Forum. I was told by a DEV that SDS is limited by what they can and can not say on this forum (not gonna say who told me) by Sony. I'm pretty sure that Sony has not changed this policy. I wish they would speak up more, but I understand that they are hamstrung to a point.

If Ramone replies to this post, I will buy a hundo in stubs and post a pic to prove it.

What’re they going to say that hasn’t already been said though?
And no matter what they say, people are still going to berate them.
They do post for certain things, but they aren’t going to comment on every anger-fueled rant after a loss, or on the 258th post about the same issue.
Show me somewhere where they’ve commented and had an intellectual conversation on this forum anywhere about an important topic involving gameplay and its utter dogshite state it’s in. Please. I’ve yet to see it.

I said they post on here. Not that they have “intellectual conversation”
That’s never going to happen my guy.

If SDS says they monitor the forums, why don't they comment or post? Is this a common practice? I play Apex Legends and they are interacting with players.
It just seems like 2K to constantly push out content without a rhyme or reason. Just my thoughts.
If I were SDS, I’d stay far away from this forum. It’s a bunch of whiny people who get super angry because they lose. They should just take the L and move on. Sadly, most of the time, it’s user error blamed on SDS. And the things they say...it’s gross.
I just get on here and say extremely funny and hilarious things because if they do monitor these forums, they’re totally going to be like “this guy is awesome,” and ask me to host an official MLB The Show podcast and allow my to choose one legend that I get to bump up to a 99 overall. And that player with be 1930s outfielder Johnny Dickshot.
