I am new to MLB The Show 20. I am trying to learn how to field balls in the infield and be able to accurately throw to first base. I am having trouble aiming and throwing accurately. All my throws pull the first baseman off the bag. Is there a trick? I know there is an accuracy meter but I do not know how to position it to throw to the base. Any help is appreciated.

Practice the meter for throwing and get it in the green. Once you get it down and get used to it, you'll rarely if ever throw one away again

I am referring to the “circular meter” with the ”R” in the middle. Not the stick meter. Do you have to line up the meter with the first baseman before you release ball?

So your using Showtime throwing. If so yes, you need to line it up in the center every time. Its a annoying way to throw in my opinion, I'd switch to button accuracy, but thats just me.
