I’m no money spent, no judgement on people who put money into the game I just chose not to. I completed collections about a week ago. I just sell every card I get for free via packs or whatever that aren’t going to collections. There are so many free stubs/cards/XP in TA it helps to do as many of those as you can stand. Also if you can make WS that helps and sell the reward.
I had a little pack luck and pulled Sherzer, and a couple other low tier diamond but nothing crazy.
And always put in buy sell orders. Never buy packs.

Step 2. Use funds acquired via selling soul towards Mantle. (Mileage may vary depending on quality of soul.)

Correct! I hate grinding the market personally. I’ve sold WS and event rewards, done about 15-20 TAs and just sold everything free. I will say I did a lot of it in the first month. When silvers and bronzes were pricey. And trout was the first diamond I bought and locked him in so I had to do the collection, he was only 215k at the time.
Just saying it’s possible.

That is awesome dude! I'm putting that in my hat for next year! I know I'm not going to be able to do the WS route, but still, that gives me some hope. Thanks and congrats.

I flipped a lot early on, but as the margins shrank, I really couldn't stomach investing the time needed to turn minimal profit at that volume. I scored trout and verlander as a post game conquest reward, packed Bellinger and Yelich, sold everything else. I don't have any of the bosses. Put it all towards LS collections. No money spent, but had some good luck on my side and put a lot of time into it.

You only have one though, and many people recommend keeping it.

All the above. I bought stubs but pretty much bought packs instead of players. I pulled 2 Trouts and Bellinger so it made it pretty easy for me
