Why do I still play?

Pitching is utter trash. Aiming is completely pointless as the ball goes right down the middle or WAY outside the zone regardless of input. Game play overall is just luck of the 1s and 0s. Home run banner is still broken. Still! I mean come on.
I play because I love baseball and miss it. If the real stuff ever comes back I will not be turning this on ever again as I will be watching that.
San Diego Studios is so lucky there is nothing else to do or watch. I don't think I'm alone in saying quarantine is the only reason to still be playing this retched attempt at a baseball simulation. No 2021 for me. That is for sure.
Because we're baseball fans and we listen to the people that tell us that we suck or aren't good enough when its the game being the issue. That causes us to feel like [censored] and try to improve by playing it more. I find enjoyment using different cards though so I'll still be playing

See you tomorrow
I quit a week ago, I've had great pack luck (5 trouts), I've spent zero extra dollars and I've completed the LS collection.
I'm not even remotely missing the game, it's been deleted from my HD.
I come here hoping to see that the game has been fixed, maybe I'll make free space on my HD, but nope, same stuff.
For many of us "I'm done" really means I'm done. I won't be playing future SDS titles either. Too bad, all sports games are now on the same path of money grabs.

Don’t slide step and cheese a fast ball, that’s why it went down the middle, and don’t dashboard next time before the ball lands - lol

I respect this. I’m just gonna keep complaining and playing though, it’s been years of doing it now, it feels like routine.

19 being frustrating is what made me not buy 20. I keep coming back to the forums to see if things have changed. Apparently they’re worse.
hows 19 at this point. Might go back. How long to get a match in ranked
I haven’t played in a few weeks but you can still get games. I don’t think there has been a time where I didn’t get one. Wait times are a little longer though.

To win the game....?

You seem to contradict yourself though, no? NMS and completed the LS collection, but then says SDS is a money grab, not following the logic here? I agree the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired, but the content and the ease of building an incredible squad is by far and away the best system in sports genre.

I have to admit that this game is a challenge for me as far as hitting goes. I am not ashamed to admit that I do have a losing record on Diamond Dynasty but that is ok. I am slowly starting to show signs of improvement though. I have learned as in playing baseball/softball in real life is the only way to get better is to play better competition. If I could just get the hitting part down. I played someone last night and this guy was literally hitting frozen ropes over the fence. He was literally raking.

Im here only cause i love baseball , but im not buyng next year

It sounds like your problems are user related and practice will help you get better.

Explain pitching to me. Good release and hitting the aim point does not go where aimed. How is that user related? Same thing with hitting. PCI is centered on the ball and triggers a good/okay.
