Did you guys know that 2012 Jason Heyward was just as good of a player Mike Trout is? Pretty crazy stuff!

Depends on how you interpret "just as good". There's many factors that come to mind other than just plain stats, such as age and potential just to name two. Also Heyward already had 2 full years of MLB experience under his belt along with an All-Stat selection while Trout played his rookie year in 2012.

    Apples and Oranges.

LS cards are designed with IE in mind. Cards like Trout would consistently get an IE boost. Without IE, the LS cards are inferior.

Consider the impact this is having on the market. In previous years, LS cards retained value better than silver and gold Flashback/Legend cards. In years past, if you wanted to do exchanges, you would buy the non-LS (stagnant) cards. This year without IE, the stagnant non-LS cards are retaining unintended value. All non-diamonds are valued evenly based upon the exchange values for TA. In a normal year, cards like Trevor Story and Clayton Kershaw would be valued at least 20% higher than exchange value because of dynamic IE consistently giving positive boosts.

That is a good point, didn’t think about that
