I collected when I was a kid but I haven't for a really long time. In my closet i have four huge binders of cards, ranging from the early 80s to the mid 90s. I don't think any of them are worth much, but maybe they will be someday when I'm old and grey lol.
I have alot of 80's and 90's I stopped. Need to pick it up again. Cards got expensive

I recently started collecting again over the past year or so. It's still as enjoyable as I remember! There are a ton of releases now---I typically stick to retail stores like Wal-Mart or Target, but there are tons of more pricey releases online or at hobby shops.

You can find retail exclusive products that are actually quite good.

I have been collecting complete sets since the late 80s. Most of these are unopened. I have probably another 5K opened and stashed away.
I have no idea who I have. Best way I could look is to see what rookies came out in the years I have.
My best guess is that I probably have over 60K cards or more. -

I mostly buy retail too, rarely pull autographs, but it's the cheapest way to get the base cards of the years rookies. But This year, out of a retail pack, I pulled a Mike Trout autograph out of /5. Still can't believe it.

I collect mostly pre WW2 cards. Mostly Tigers too.
