I've been calling for a Signature Series/Prime Zobrist for all of last year. It's cool that he'll be kinda rare but I'll have to buy him off the market if I want him now as I can't stand BR's unpredictability.

Edit: ... and Tom Glavine's Signature Series is a 95 overall? Is that a mistake? One of the best pitchers of the last 50 years and he's going to have an equal rating to Nick Lodolo's Future Stars card. I realize he was a never a big strikeout pitcher, so maybe that explains it a bit. I will say, I haven't had a problem with the ratings until now.
I'm sure most if not all of the legend cards will receive
99 ovr as the year goes by....I'm just wanting my main man Griffey Jr and I'll be happyI don't know if they will give Glavine a "Prime" if he's about to get a Signature Series. I'm assuming it's either one or the other, not both.

Its a video game, not real life. Lodolo will more than likely never be as great as glavine was but it's all in fun. It mixes up peoples lineups. No, everyone isn't entitled to a tom glavine card. Some cards are and should be rare. There's enough variety in the gane for everyone to build a fantastic squad. If he is your childhood hero and you "need" him then sell off your inventory or save up stubs or pony up real cash. The chioce is yours young Padawan.

I agree for the most part, but "rare" cards should be reserved for teams where the rarity doesn't hurt the overall roster. If you gave say, a team with 5 legend/flashback cards a BR reward, it would be bad, because that team already has little to go by

Come August/Sept they have been know to increase the rewards which usually result in a good drop in the cost of the early flawless rewards however with SDS starting BR off with better rewards hard to say if the same thing happens

Dude, the Braves will have three of the top pitchers in the game. There also might be another version of glavine down the road.
Oh I'm not saying the Braves are on that list of teams (like the Phillies last year). I'm just saying some cards shouldn't be those kinds of rewards for certain reasons.

Lodolo getting a 95 isn't a problem, and neither is Glavine being a 95.

After looking at his Baseball Reference page, I think you may be right. Glavine was more of a steady accumulator rather than a dominating force. His career numbers are comparable to Warren Spahn and C.C. Sabathia (both of whom Baseball Reference lists as "most similar by age") and if I'm not mistaken, Sabathia's Signature Series was a 94 overall and Spahn's a 97 last season.

Nah, I'm a real baseball fan but this game isn't worth the frustration. It's cool now but will wear off in a couple months

I do when the product is good enough to do so, like last year. I however didn't in 18 and sure as hell won't be this year if things don't improve
