Im at 900 points, all collections and moments done... sorry, probably a dumb question, just making sure I’m not missing something repeatable.

Under the 1st inning program it will show everything available to earn stars. If you have completed everything you're SOL at this point.

Yet the still trying to push the game with a definite way for people to get first and second inning rewards without shelling out money...just indicates how clueless they are to the fanbase....yet they won't ever warn them that it's almost impossible to get the bosses unless you pay for them. Rewarding your preorder fan base is one thing, but while punishing your late comers is another.

So under the 1st Inning Player Program, I need 8 points to reach 50 and unlock All-Star Kerry Woods. I beat the Cubs on All-Star in Extended Play vs CPU but it didn't register/reward me the 8 points. Is this because we're in 3rd Inning now, or did I not do something right?

Did you collect him using the voucher?

Technically, "finishing the 1st Inning" means reaching 300 stars.

The rest is just there to keep the heavy grinders active.

No, I haven't collected him and I don't have a voucher. I may not be explaining it correctly. Under Programs-->Player Programs-->1st Inning Kerry Wood 85 Diamond? -->All-Star Kerry Wood Stage 1; 42 of 50 earned between Missions and Moments. Scrolling over the program rewards, the last one is All-Star Legend Kerry Wood - Unlock at 50.

I've completed all the stage 1 Moments and have 42 "points". I need 8 more to get to 50 and "unlock" All-Star Kerry Wood. One of the options in Missions is Play vs CPU: defeat the Cubs on All-Star or higher. So, staying in DD, I went to Extended Play-->Play vs CPU -->selected Cubs and All-Star and played the game beating them 1-0. But I didn't get the 8 points, nor does it show a blue bar in the Mission. Still says 0/1.

I didn't know if I did something wrong, or if being in Inning 3 now matters, or if I simply got "glitched" and have to try again.

I think its a glitch. I didn't do that mission, but I remember people having the same problem you are.

What should happen is that if you max out the current program, you extra points you earn from the actual gameplay, not dailies or the like, but from playing games should go towards unfinished programs.

That would allow late starters to have a chance.
