I don't think you can go wrong with Gorman or Jones. I personally have Gorman there.
I too was absolute trash with Giambi. I did just unlock McCovey and might give him a try.

I don’t know what it is. I’m hitting .219 with him. Everyone else is hitting over .300 with two players over .400. I’m trying to be patient but at some point, gotta move on

I know he’s not a lefty, but that Miggy card is close to my fav hitter so far if you can afford it. I sold him and a bunch for Trout maybe a week but I’ve been missing him bad and 20k away from getting him back. Nice vision for HOF.

He does look good, I’m just trying to keep somewhat of a balance in my lineup. I’m already running 5 righties and 3 lefties. Can’t see myself going 6/2

I use kiriloff, but his lack of major pop is frustrating.

He mashes for me in the event on All star... but the power doesn't translate as much on HOF

Kirilloff might lack some pop, but he is an on-base machine for me. If you have power elsewhere in your lineup, I'd recommend him. I couldn't hit well with Giambi either and he's been a good upgrade.

I’ve used FotF Olson at 1B, and I honestly don’t know if I can replace him with Jones or Gorman. He’s just been THAT good for me at any difficulty I’ve played this year.

Try Josh Bell FOTF. I keep trying to replace him, but keep going back to him because he has a quick switch hitting swing with pop!

If it doesn’t have to be FS then LS Freeman or FotF Votto...

That's interesting to hear about Giambi, I recently replaced him because I accidentally chose McCovey instead of Fingers, but Giambi has had better stats than anyone on my team including players whose stats are inflated because I've been able to use them in BR frequently

I use fotf Olson but thinking of switching to a switch bat eaither fotf Carlos Santana or fotf Josh bell

Bell is an interesting option. Decent power, switch hitter, good vision
