Guess I was partially right last night saying they wanna make up for the lost money from the double TA points. Might not be selling TA points but sell stubs that can used over and over again on TA. Love capitalism.

I wouldn’t buy stubs if they did 75% off. Not until they step up and fix the fraudulent pack prices. I like to fool around and open packs. When I’ve lost hundreds of thousands of stubs doing so while pulling 95% packs with 100-200 stubs in them, the hell I am gonna give them money to buy them back lol.
Good for whoever buys them though. Hope it gets you to Mickey mantle.

I have Mantle. I did not buy more than 10 packs. Got everything through grinding. NMS is the way to go

For sure. I’ve spent a couple hundred because it’s doesn’t mean a lot to me but can definitely go NMS in this game. If I was close enough where like $50 would get me mantle I would probably have dropped it during the sale. But I’m not so I won’t lol. But I don’t get mad at people for doing it. To each their own.
Honestly I’d be pretty [censored] close Mantle if I didn’t open packs. They are so god awful but I still do it when I get bored.

Yeah this isn’t the real stub sale, it’s either a feeler to grab that stimulus money, or they’re struggling for micro transactions compared to previous years. To be honest outside of the big three collection rewards I’m not seeing much to spend real money on in the marketplace right now. A lot of people want Mantle, Sheffield and Biggio, possibly enough to drop cash to complete collections, for sure. A lot of people have. But the rest of the collection rewards aren’t the most appealing this year for various reasons and the top rated legends and flashbacks in the market are Luis Patino, Christy Mathewson, Ozzie Smith, Nick Madrigal and Alec Bohm. It’s not like people are gonna to rush out to buy stubs to get their hands on those cards, they’re only 30-40k each anyway.
When we see better sellable content in packs, more people will buy stubs. I’d like to bet 94 Miggy was a good week for stub sales as opposed to when Dale Murphy was a headliner, just sayin’. -

To be fair I did get digital deluxe, and I may or may not have pulled trout and cole, but other than that I did it without extra cost.
