Guy plays game and grinds out cards: "What a loser grinding. Just get them in a few weeks like everyone else"
Guy works a job and buys the card he wants: "What a loser paying for cards you can earn for free by grinding"
Guy just plays with an average team and wins: "What a loser he can only win because the RNG gave him the win becuase they felt bad for his [censored] team"

Yeah i dont see the bragging here. Showdowns take 90minutes tops if you play every game out. But if you strategically skip all the challenges where it forces you to pitch and hit if you don't beat it in the first half inning, it is simple. Not to mention that the exchange for the additional 30 Fan Support Pts costs 7-10k in stubs if you work the market

Did you get beat by someone with 5-6 TA 2 players? Let people do what they want to do, it's not like its killing you or anything.

One thing to add: you don't have to rush to have 5-6 FS players. I've played the game fairly conservatively and I have 7.

Not sure I understand this take: Each TA is better than an inning boss. You get better rewards along the way, and better rated cards. A few of these could easily be end game for me, they are that fun to use.

I do not have any trouble at all with Showdown. I just think it's extremely cheesy to play that mode all day. Do what you want. I work toward the rewards too. I just won't complain about lack of content like you will because you spammed Showdown all day for a week when it is supposed to occupy you for 2 months. Just saying.

Complaining about how someone enjoys their time, or complaining about lack of content someone may or may not want to take part in is still complaining. Which is what you did by starting this thread.

in 2 months these cards will be obsolete for the most part (Still useful as event cards maybe) and you'll have missed the boat...

@rsetzer13 if you completed 1 showdown a day for 2 months (20x60) you would have 1,200 out of 3,600 total TA points not including what you already have. My goal is to be around 2,000 points come stage 3. Lil more then 50%
I might lose points by being maxed out but losing 10 points is like losing 7,000 stubs. The profit made off of showdown alone covers the loss

Do you realize you'll be complaining that your innings played with guys on those teams will count for nothing for 2-3 months? You literally will have nothing to look forward to after getting them. Unlike stage 1 where there were rewards after FOF, there are none after these for stage 2.
Seriously, I just don't understand the need to rush everything mentality. If you rushed and played Showdown all day every day, your complaints will carry zero weight when it comes to content.One thing to note that 2nd inning program had a collect mission for FoTF so safe to assume FS will have one so having 5 will be a big benefit
