March to October Authentication Error

When I hopped on to complete the ALCS this morning I was greeted with this error.
“ this march to october campaign can not be authenticated by this console.
You will not receive any gated rewards.”
Has anyone encountered this before and if so do you know why it happen
I have been waiting for a real response for over 2 weeks for this same kind of error, they respond once a week saying they are looking into it

I have had the same issue. I advanced to the LCS and have not received any affinity points at the gates. I got the system authentication error right around advancing to the post season. And I won around 110 games in the regular season. I emailed and got a quick initial reply saying they’d send my info to another person at sds but have not heard anything since. It’s annoying to put in all of that time to just get nothing because of a glitch.

I had the same issue as McGee. Sent them several messages but they never handled the problem. Good luck.

Just had the same issue. Logged on to a Dodgers run that was on game 152 only to receive that error message. My power went out in a game in mid July. Why are they penalizing people for power glitches?

Yes I got the same issue. I swept the championship series to reach the world series and did not get any points towards my affinity for the Rays. I sent a bug report to support twice. The 2nd time it went through and got a response, hopefully they can fix this issue. March to Octber is a very time consuming mode and I want proper credit. I have a screen shot as well of the message.

Exact same situation. Seriously, why should anyone play this mode if it literally can wipe every single run at once due to something as common as a power outage? Hell, I wasn't even in the March to October mode when the outage happened!

I was flipping cards earlier today and our power went out a couple times . Several hours later I go to continue my AL Championship Series up 2 games to none and I get the"cant authenticate" message . Continued to play 2 more games to sweep series but still getting the message before the first game of the world World Series. I guess I would be just wasting my time to continue playing correct ?

you can put in a bug report or issue report, but they will ignore it so yeah....its a complete waste of time

I put in an Issue Report, same issue as has been described here, not expecting a lot. Shame though, I really like MTO, but not going to start one if the TA rewards are not attainable.

We're finalizing a fix for this bug. Not quite ready for the next update, but we are working to get it resolved.

I just got this error message. I'm currently at game 1 of the World Series with the White Sox on Hall of Fame difficulty. There's 21 points on the line here. I just submitted this to their support team currently awaiting a response.

I got a response, told me they can't do anything about the flags on individual MtO runs.

I know this was a while ago, but did anyone ever get a fix to this? My PlayStation never restarted or anything. Just logged in like usual. Made me go through the set up process again (which was annoying but whatever). Played a few DD games. Went over to MTO, only had half a month to go to get enough TA points to get maxed for the Braves. To get a message that it wouldn't count if I finished it on this console? I never changed consoles? Soo.....
Does that mean all the rest of mine I have up don't count either? To get points I would save the playoffs on teams MTO in case I needed the extra few points to complete their TA. So none of those are good now?

They made it clear that they dont care about the MTO authentication error, they dont respond to any emails or bug reports

I know this has been going on for some time....but I've had my settings reset twice on my over the last...2 months or so?
Went in to try and do a M2O game before logging off and got the same issue. I'm not a huge fan of the mode so only doing it once for the trophy/TA points but now I'm concerned that I'll get even farther than I was and have all my progress undone again.

This has happened to me 3 different times. Never quit in the middle of a game, didn't have power outage or lose internet connection. I closed the MTO and went DD, came back and had that message. [censored]. Of course they won't do anything to fix or give you credit for it.
