March to October Authentication Error

I was flipping cards earlier today and our power went out a couple times . Several hours later I go to continue my AL Championship Series up 2 games to none and I get the"cant authenticate" message . Continued to play 2 more games to sweep series but still getting the message before the first game of the world World Series. I guess I would be just wasting my time to continue playing correct ?

you can put in a bug report or issue report, but they will ignore it so yeah....its a complete waste of time

I put in an Issue Report, same issue as has been described here, not expecting a lot. Shame though, I really like MTO, but not going to start one if the TA rewards are not attainable.

We're finalizing a fix for this bug. Not quite ready for the next update, but we are working to get it resolved.

I just got this error message. I'm currently at game 1 of the World Series with the White Sox on Hall of Fame difficulty. There's 21 points on the line here. I just submitted this to their support team currently awaiting a response.

I got a response, told me they can't do anything about the flags on individual MtO runs.

I know this was a while ago, but did anyone ever get a fix to this? My PlayStation never restarted or anything. Just logged in like usual. Made me go through the set up process again (which was annoying but whatever). Played a few DD games. Went over to MTO, only had half a month to go to get enough TA points to get maxed for the Braves. To get a message that it wouldn't count if I finished it on this console? I never changed consoles? Soo.....
Does that mean all the rest of mine I have up don't count either? To get points I would save the playoffs on teams MTO in case I needed the extra few points to complete their TA. So none of those are good now?

They made it clear that they dont care about the MTO authentication error, they dont respond to any emails or bug reports

I know this has been going on for some time....but I've had my settings reset twice on my over the last...2 months or so?
Went in to try and do a M2O game before logging off and got the same issue. I'm not a huge fan of the mode so only doing it once for the trophy/TA points but now I'm concerned that I'll get even farther than I was and have all my progress undone again.

This has happened to me 3 different times. Never quit in the middle of a game, didn't have power outage or lose internet connection. I closed the MTO and went DD, came back and had that message. [censored]. Of course they won't do anything to fix or give you credit for it.

I have the issue this year and last year, sds never have fixed or acknowledged this in almost a year

Useless mode either service your second rate product or get of the business. Waste of my time.

I got the same “can’t authenticate” message on Friday after I got booted out of a showdown win because of server issues (which is a whole other issue of itself...). I was up 2-0 in the ALDS. I just got back on my MTO last night and didn’t have the message, so I played game 3 and won. Before clicking to advance to the ALCS the “can’t authenticate” came back. So pretty sure I just wasted my time. I’m guessing I won’t get any affinity points for the postseason so there isn’t any point in finishing it out.

Had the same thing, in the ALCS. Edit - I restarted my console and seem to be back in business. Give that a try.
