How long do you guys think card prices are going to be high? Newbie

How long are the prices going to be like this on the market, ? I don't understand why they are so high

I was wondering the same about the top tier Live cards like Trout and Bellinger. Last year when I finally got enough for Trout mid summer he was like 150-175 I believe. I have gotten lucky on my packs and have enough now but think he will have to come down closer to 200. As for Golds and Lower tiered Diamonds. Those will keep getting closer and closer to the base price of 1K for Golds and 5K for Diamonds as more of them become in circulation.

Last year Trouts card drop with the Signature of him came out, It might drop if and when we get a Griffey card.

Trout and Bellinger are so high because they are the gate keepers to Mantle. Once more people get Mantle you may see there prices drop although it will not be substantial. I expect Trout to sit at lowest around 190/170 until at least August maybe later and the stub sale in July (all star break) will only raise his price.
