i spent a ton of money and time on getting and he is just dog [censored]. his control is all over the [censored] place. worse than Ryan. no way to sell either which stinks.
anyone else have issues with him?

he's only good if you're playing on hof as the ball speed is harder to hit

I have a hard time controlling his breaking stuff. I also struggle with his windup though, so that might have something to do with it.

I haven’t been that impressed with him when facing him. A lot of people think they can just spam sinkers with him.
There’s also not a lot of speed differential. It’s really just his FB/Sinker and then offspeed. He would be better if he had a middle velo pitch or slower offspeed than what he has.

I'm sorry what? Olson is incredible. Quite possibly the best TA card in the game.

TA Olson crushes for me. Hitting .336 with 42 bombs

ive played 4 games with him. all on conquest all-star. Ive left him in all 3 innings. played the A's all 4.
NO chance im taking this stiff online. in fact im not playing online until fielding is fixed. im not going to give myself a stroke.
im an average player. maybe slightly above. never made WS but flirt with it every year in the high 700s.
this card is total junk. the control is non existent. I had a 3-0 count and tried to throw 3 fastball down the middle and he couldn't. his slider on several occasion is a change up that has no movement. this slider hangs like I've never seen.
if I could quick sell for 5000 I would. ill never touch this POS card again. never been more let down in my life by a card in this game.
if anything, don't make the same mistake. the only reason to get this is if you are anticipating later cards in the affinity collection that would require you to get this anyway. but if you're going after this card thinking he will give your opponents fits, you'll be mega pissed.

Olson is a top 3 offensive card I've used all year
He and Miggy are the source of most of my homeruns, and I'm [censored] at hitting.

yeah i hate this card does nothing for me that is the beauty of this game everyone rakes with different cards - kyle seager TA is much better at 1b for me

Well, true that he gets hit in the third, but his hanging slider is there from pitch 1. Ive never seen such a dud for a slider. Id be terrified to use it online.
