Who's to say what a card is "worth"? To you he may be worth 260-275, someone else might feel differently. Maybe he needs 20 Hendricks for exchanging etc.

I don't understand why people feel the need to put in 20 buy orders for Kyle Hendricks at 300 stubs so that Hendricks price will go up over 300 for a while when he's worth around 260-275. I need to save my stubs. Stop terrorizing the market.

Supply and demand bro, when a lot of people want the same thing it drives the price up. Something is worth with someone is willing to pay, and he was willing to pay more then you. You want to pay less you have to wait for the demand and price to fall lower, if it does. This is simple economics bro, think

This is not even what's happening. His price is up because of the TA exchanges, not because of the buy orders this 1 guy put in. Anyone who would do what you're suggesting would not influence the market one bit, they would just shoot themselves in the foot and lose stubs real fast.

This is exactly how a market based system works and I take advantage of that all the time. I’ll routinely go and by up a bunch of one card with sole purpose of flipping the card for a much higher price. This is why I spend exactly zero extra money on stubs each year because I know how to manipulate market to my benefit. Just because you aren’t intelligent enough to do the same doesn’t make the practice unfair!!!

It's not that he isn't intelligent, it's that he doesn't have the time or patience to sit there and play with buy/sell orders all day flipping cards and finds it irritating when flippers artificially manipulate a price.

What's funny is you can find many posts where to stick it to flippers someone will purposely tank a price on them and flippers call foul.

Frustrations go both ways. People hate artificially inflated prices, and flippers cry like babies when someone artificially tanks a price on them.

I just buy the tanked cards. It doesn’t bother me that someone will toss away cards just to tank the price. I’m still going to make the profit ultimately, while the raging tanker is taking the hit for his cards on the market.

There’s a reason I can maintain nearly a million stubs year round without investing a single cent. And if that makes people mad than they need to reexamine their life, because anybody can do it with a little understanding of how a market based economy works. Yes I know, it requires that you stayed in school past the 10th grade.

I don’t usually do much on the market but had to do rival feed missions for the marlins. Needed like 140 silvers. Wtf was I supposed to do, list one at a time?

Lmfao, you’re more than welcome to spend unnecessary money on this game because you lack the knowledge that you need to understand market economics. I’m sure SDS will gladly accept your donation. As for me I’ll use their system to my advantage and laugh at you for making that absolutely absurd and ignorant remark. Whether or not you believe it, the games marketplace may be virtual, however, the way one approaches it will be more or less indicative of how you will approach real life scenarios that are similar.

When Flipping you have to be patient and know the card will eventually sell or you will get it at the price you want.

you are worried about spending an extra 25 stubs on a card, which you can make back in 10 min maybe less by flipping another card of just playing the game. Most of the cards this year are more than what they should be. There are a few reason for it, If someone wants to buy 100 of the same card they can, Your title says what you want to do is control the market to what you think it should be, We as in each person who plays the market in any way set the price of the Market, If that was the last card I needed to finish off the cubs collection 300 stubs is not a bad price for a silver if you are looking to flip the card then you will make stubs for profit. Sounds like you need it for exchanges is my guess so you will have to pay the market price or wait for it to drop. Stop complaining
