Yeah...I don't think I've manually saved since like 2009 (didn't put any thought into that, so likely an exaggeration...)

Appreciate that owl but I went through a whole off-season just getting out to spring training then I had a error from MLB which exited out and I had to start all the way back from the end of the off-season where I previously saved it it didn't save after the third free agency which I was still active signing and trading players I need auto save after I make an acquisition there's no auto save for that

No. It only auto saves after games. You need to do it yourself for any other situations.
