Is anyone having luck with this card? Have only used him in the event and he gets absolutely shelled every game

Same here. He and Kyle Wright both get pummeled for me in events. I tried switching up my sequences and they still get hit. But I think this event has juiced baseballs

everyone gets shelled in the event. Its on allstar and pitchers start at 70% stamina becuase its only a 6 inning game. So after the 2nd inning every pitch you throw has less break. try using him in Ranked seasons and youll notice a difference.

when I say shelled I mean like not even get out of the first inning. I consider myself a decent pitcher so idk. I think that lack high 90s makes him a bit easier to read -

Very good point. Didn’t think about that at all

I used him in one RS game so far. He went 8 IP, 7 strikeouts, gave up 4 runs and a few hits in a no decision. He has some control issues I think but his stamina is really good and it’s nice sneaking that 97 mph fastball past hitters.

I’ve had mixed success with him, he’s perfect to bring in with someone who struggles with offspeed and just sits heat

He gives up a lot of baserunners, but he has the pressure cooker quirk so it's ok. He is very effective if you can locate and if you mix his pitches well

You can never judge a pitcher on all star. I always wait to reach 700+ before I start judging pitchers
