All I'm saying is Eovaldi should have a perk where he turns into a Diamond if you put him into relieve after the 6th inning.
-
Anybody else thinks it’s funny you can’t bring in starters vs the cpu.

Maybe his pen was depleted... Maybe because he's down he didn't want to burn his pen. Why do folks here always think they can determine what is or isn't acceptable?
BECAUSE IF IT MAKES US LOSE WE NO LIKE IT!
Really, though...I think it sucks...but it's allowed. I would love it if they'd do something about bullpen arms, though. They get tired before hitting double digit pitches, and that gets very frustrating.
It’s worse in the events. I had Adon come in with full energy and was tired after 2 pitches.

You can except in showdown I think. You definitely can in play vs CPU.
I laugh when it’s Kluber then Newhouser. Can you be any more original?

Agree if you use a SP out of the bullpen he should be unusable for a longer time then if he actually started

My thought still hasn’t changed on this. Easy fix, take 2-3 full innings to warm a SP up fully and if they put him in before that his energy is super low along with confidence. And if u do want him up fully to use him his energy should get drained by double the normal speed to account for it. Simple easy fix. It’s ok to use a SP out of the bullpen but let’s handicapt it so it makes some sense in the long run.
Excep players will eventually adap to it.

Adapt or not adapt it’s still a reasonable answer to the problem. Don’t see how u can adapt. Adapting is using a bullpen arm

I will say I invested a lot in my pen, and I will be cruising with kluber Oswalt or sale, and bring the pen in when the pitch count is over 85... all of a sudden my opponent “ wakes up “ and starts shelling my pen, night after night... I since have just been going to 2 starters of my rotation 90 prospect Mackenzie Gore and Bob Gibson, and lord and behold they have been closing great games for me... but Chapman, Franco, Rivera, dolittle and Giles have been lit up like crazy... hell if it gets to the 10th I warm up kluber or Oswalt whoever has less energy
Do you find that you always have a starter ready to go the next game?
Just wait until more high 90's starting pitchers come out. There won't be any relievers being used by July. And fielding will still be a nightmare...
SDS should only allow SP to come in after you've exhausted your bullpen during the game.
A few bullpen arms that don’t come from BR and have price tags over 100k could go a long way. Cards like Miller and Jansen have fallen off a cliff and nobody has replaced them yet. Hader has no change up, Chapman lost his, Yates isn’t great at all. I don’t see a lot of options out there. I actually choose flashback Charlie Morton for stamina fodder incase I’m getting crushed and want to save the three guys I find usable.
It’s way to easy to just throw Ohtani or Kopech in and save the headache.

I get that. Not trying to sound like a [censored] but maybe people just need to learn to pitch better with what they have. Nolan Ryan, Kerry Wood, Dennis Eckerisly, Vida Blue, Robb Nen are pretty solid if you mix their pitches well.
