Do you hate HR replays?
-
Some people have the attention span of a knat. They don't take the time to appreciate the monster dinger they just gave up. Just want to skip to the next one.
After all, life is a race and the first win to the end gets the best plot.

I love using it when playing trolls. Bunt dancing, holding R2, constantly pausing and letting the timer run. If someone uses it against me I don’t really care. Let’s me text people back that I put on hold for 45 minutes lol.

I doubt watching a HR replay throws anyone off. I'll admit, I don't watch my own homeruns and I think it's silly when my opponent does, but I don't get mad. It's more a "keep the game moving" thing for me.
We've all seen the limited number of animations this game has multiple times. If you watch your replays I just assume you don't hit very many and probably aren't very good at the game. So far I've noticed most early inning replay watchers tend to rage quit somewhere in the middle innings, so my theory seems to be pretty true so far.....

Bro, go watch half the YouTubers get super upset over a home run replay. There are plenty of people who get mad over it. I can assure you. I've been beaned in almost every instance of watching one.

I don't get upset, I get even. Odds are I'm going to hit more home runs than my opponent, so I watch every replay.

Your basing you argument off of youtubers; entertainers who's job is to put on an act.
If you get beaned "almost every time" that's incredibly silly. But hey, it's a free baserunner so don't let me tell you how to play. In the end it's what.... 10 seconds to watch a replay? A good at bat takes more time. People should be prepared to have 45 mins free before starting up a ranked season game.
-
If it's a no doubter, we are watching it together. Don't care how my opponent feels about it or if he wants to watch his....
-
nope love it, dont like it dont give up a HR
-
Love it. So satisfying to do when someone is griefing letting pause timer run all game which I swear is half the people I play this year and force them to watch you beat the [censored] out of them some more.
-
If you're up by a decent lead and still doing it for every shot then I hand the controller to my 10 year old son and tell him to make the game take as long as humanly possible

I don't. I think it's hilarious when my opponent gets mad over me watching my magnificent home run. I'm going to play every replay on every home run. Not just mine but yours too. Why? Because I can. Because I know it frustrates you and throws you off your game. I literally won two games yesterday against higher rated players, one of which was 11-0, because they couldn't handle me watching a 3 run no doubter replay. They both proceeded to bean me until they walked in a run and then quit. If you're so easily upset from seeing your mistake again, then don't make the mistake or grow the hell up. Those are your options. Don't act like a child though, just because I watched a replay the game have me the option to. I don't complain be about players watching every presentation or walkup, nor should I. It's baseball. This is a sport of patience, and logic. You wouldn't be able to tell it watching some people play though lol.
TL;DR :
IF you cry about replays and quit over them, YOU'RE the problem. Not your opponent. Stop letting people get to you to throw your game off.i love the HR replays - i even enjoy watching the OPPONENTS home run replays - this is a great feature of the game and sorely missed from 2017 when they had those nice no doubter replays
-
Sometimes you or your opponent hits a worthy bomb that needs to be replayed.
-
Homerun replays were an exceptional addition to this years product. If someone dosent have the patience to sit through the replays then they probably dont truly have patience for baseball. I dont see it as disrespectful if someone replays their shot. It actually gives me an opportunity to reset mentally, grab a drink or whatever. I replay all of my opponents homeruns. I've witnessed the youtubers getting aggravated over replays. I'd say to them....Yo! Tryhard!.....relax homie. Most of us play this game for fun. Most of those guys are playing in someone else's dime anyway. As professional video game players they should not only expect but even welcome their opponent making use of the programming genius that went into creating the game that makes them their money.
-
Love the home run replays. Don’t understand how people don’t have the patience to watch a 10 second replay.
-
I like the homerun replays and that they are optional. At first it felt like a way to taunt your opponent. Kinda numb to them now, but will pay attention if it was 450ft+ moonshot or something.

Sounds like you’ve had the experience of being down by a lot quite often. Wonder if there’s any correlation with that loser attitude? Don’t like the replay? Stop giving up homers
-
Definitely my favorite feature this year so far.

Just came here to say I appreciate your posts, keep up the good work. Also I don’t
Mind it at all, I enjoy watching certain ones as I don’t get to see the animations like I enjoy w SZ3 now that I switched to SZ2 -
