Brandon Marsh was my first chase to replace Soto’s defense in left. Going after Mateo next for that speed. Then will prob go Wright, and mb chase Nico, Cubs FS.

Have you seen Gaterol yet in game or twitch? I’m wondering if he’s at all effective/ worth the grind?

No I haven't seen Gaterol yet, his stamina worries me. I know he has the outlier quirk but I have never really made that or high velo pitchers a priority, thats just me though. I am sure he will play better than his stats though, I imagine at HOF levels he will be a beast, I just never tend to make it to the HOF levels anymore so I focus more on pitchers with nasty junk and good control. That Brandon Marsh card is going to be the next one I chase.

I respect your opinion, but I’m on the other side. That’s what I love though, we all have our own take on something.

I don't know how he plays online but he was the Final NL boss for me in the Showdown and I could not make good contact against him at all.

I am not a fan of this decision by SDS to buff these non-top prospect cards, but you have to do them to get whatever comes next that hopefully is better legends or flashbacks...

On that note, Brandon Marsh rakes!!! He went 6/9 in his first 2 online games for me. 2 triples, 3 doubles.
Wright as well. Pitched a gem

I just like that they add a bit of variety, last year every line up looked the same, these cards give us an opportunity to change that. I know people don't like their ratings and I completely understand why, but they have to be highly rated or they will be useless come July, and people who don't have the money to spend on the game can obtain these cards and remain competitive.

If the FS cards are this highly rated, it makes me excited to think of what cards are yet to come, not just for TA but for program bosses. Also like I said, I enjoy that it gives us different options.

I’m curious where ya’ll stand on total TA points out of 3600? I have 800 and would like to catch up some.. if summer stage 3 is 2 months away 3600/60= 60 points a day to catch up. I would need to average 46 points a day to catch up completely. I’m gonna try to average 20 points a day (1 showdown completion) putting me in the 2,000 range for stage 3

I like future stars, I liked them since first introduced. I do NOT like them this year, they should have kept the same as previous years. OVRs are too high, prospect selection is strange, most should have been 88-90, with the top ones a 91-92 at most, and on top of prospect series they weren't needed at all.

I think they made them so highly rated because they want them to still be viable options come the end of the year. If that's the case, then we should be excited to see what Legends and flashbacks are yet to come for program bosses, headliners etc. Now IF these FS cards have a higher rating than some of the program bosses they drop my opinion could change on them. For now though, I enjoy the variety they bring.

    I'd like them more if

    1. they actually chose top prospects... Jays 23rd prospect? Wtf
    2. They didn't render other cards already made useless, like Wander Franco who should be the highest prospect card period.
    3. Weren't completely redundant with prospect cards already...

These should all be prospect cards..
Future Stars should be cards that have slightly seen MLB, which we love on our favorite teams but don't have a high rating yet.
Example, Bo Bichette, Vlad and Cavan Biggio for my team. Every team has a few.

The next 2 TA will need to be really dope, but it still won't change the fact this was poorly planned and executed

Yeah, the execution is poor. I'm not against prospects or future stars, but they bungled the execution. I'm a guy the follows baseball reasonably closely and I've only heard of 3 or 4 of these guys. I'm not super excited to grind out affinity fo what's basically an attribute sheet.

Me too man. I follow baseball very closely, even minors and I know only half of these guys. Of the half I know, I'm not impressed. I can name a better prospect or 3 for every team that they didn't choose.. also, no catchers at all..
