Have you tried placing The ball elsewhere? In the corners, low, high? Also if you’re hanging troubling avoiding grading disc think about buying digital next year

Probably played more baseball than the majority on this forum. From a pitching stand point, this game is atrocious. I physically can't keep the ball from going in the middle no matter what I do. Mobile hot spot gives some relief but it is a flat out joke you have to go from wired fiber to mobile hot spot for the game to work sometimes. If the recent patches are any indication, this is the trash we will get for the year. Look for people with good internet to bail on this game quick. All you people with rinky dink internet will be playing yourselves shortly.
There flat out aren't words for the pitching I see in this game. If I would have had a physical copy of the game, I would have snapped it into 100 pieces.
You know, with the pitch speeds and timing windows being what they are, I wonder if these hangers over the plate are a way for the hitting stats to more closely represent “real” baseball. If it wasn’t for these hangers, the hitting stats would be too low, and they’d have to consider adjusting hitting. I guarantee the hitting numbers are right where they want them to be.

Probably. I promise this will be the last time I buy The Show. It’s absolutely terrible online this year, by far the worst gameplay of any instalment I’ve played in the last half decade and I’d say if it wasn’t for the content in ‘18 being so bad, this would be on a par with that miserable effort. It’s as bad as ‘18 in terms of gameplay, but for all the opposite reasons. I’m usually an online only RS player and this is the worst state I’ve ever seen the game in. I refuse to even attempt to play the game as I have played it in the past, which means I’ve paid $100 for some crappy offline only game, where I can collect all the cards in the world, but it’s absolutely pointless, as I could make a custom roster of legends to play vs CPU only, thereby saving myself all the time, money and effort of earning 99 Sheffield or Mantle through diamond dynasty. Without a playable online 9 inning mode, the whole card collecting thing is pointless to me. What am I collecting them for? To play events where half the cards I spent time earning are ineligible and my pitchers come in already exhausted? Or to play endless vs CPU games with absolutely no point to it all? DD is terrible this year, if they’d not been so focused on making moments seem more palatable by mashing them into a showdown game mode, we may have gotten a decent game mode to play while RS is totally broken and not being fixed. But no. We get moments remixed instead. Because everyone loved moments so much last year. SMH.

Dude, maybe you are correct in regards to the issues with the game. I won’t bother to disagree with you. That said, how many times do you plan on yelling at clouds until you realize that your opinion carries just as much weight as the next guy (which is less than nothing).
As stated to death, this post is not your first rodeo here. At this point you are just a parody of yourself, nothing more. Until you grow a set and actually follow through with your advice then all you are is troll bait, not that there is anything wrong with that.
TL;DR I am not criticizing your criticism to this game, I am criticizing your inability to commitment
